STRONGFELT bracelets are typically cuffs or bangles. The cuffs are designed flat with an incorporated solid felt clasp made with a combination of needle and wet felting techniques or a button/hole closure. Bangles have a stainless steel armature around which wool fibers are felted with the use of a larger resist to assure the fibers have the needed space to shrink to become strongfelt, averse to pilling. Surface design may incorporate: fusion with fabric, thread and other non-felting fibers, partial felt patterning, 3-D felt surfaces, free-motion embroidery and natural dyes.
